Participate in two important calls for public inputs on JI issues

1. Call for inputs on the draft recommendations to the CMP regarding the first review of the JI guidelines

The Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol, at its sixth session, requested the JISC to make recommendations on options for building on the approach embodied in JI, as part of the first review of the JI guidelines.

At its twenty-fifth meeting, the JISC considered draft recommendations for the options and identified a number of areas where further development is needed.

Public inputs are solicited and encouraged on the current draft recommendations, as contained in annex 6 to the annotated agenda for the twenty-fifth meeting of the JISC.

This call is open from 27 June to 22 July 2011 (17:00 GMT) at: http://ji.unfccc.int/CallForInputs/draft_rec_cmp/index.html

2. Call for inputs on the revised "Guidance on criteria for baseline setting and monitoring"

The work plan of the JISC for the period 2011-2013 foresees that the "Guidance on criteria for baseline setting and monitoring" should be revised. At its twenty-fifth meeting the JISC considered the draft revision, and requested the secretariat to launch a call for public inputs.

Public inputs are solicited and encouraged on the current draft guidance, as contained in annex 4 to the annotated agenda for the twenty-fifth meeting of the JISC.

This call is open from 27 June to 22 July 2011 (17:00 GMT) at: http://ji.unfccc.int/CallForInputs/baseline_criteria/index.html
