Call for public interest

The UNFCCC secretariat is preparing roundtable consultations, to be held in Bonn, Germany, on 14 June 2010 on the following issues:
  • Concept of materiality in JI;
  • Changes to projects during implementation;
  • Experiences with the verification procedure under the JISC;
  • Outreach activities on JI.

The roundtable consultations are for the Joint Implementation Supervisory Committee to meet with interested stakeholders with practical experience and knowledge of JI for an open discussion and sharing of views on the issues listed above, which are the present priority areas for the JISC to work on.

Stakeholders with practical experience are invited to express their interest to participate in the roundtable consultations. Expressions of interest should include information regarding the individual's or organization's involvement in JI with regard to the particular issues to be addressed in the context of the roundtable consultations.

Based on the inputs received and further considerations by the JISC, the list of participants for the roundtable consultations will be finalized.

Expressions of interest to participate in the roundtable consultations should be submitted using the form below no later than 14 May 2010 (17:00 GMT).
