UNFCCC Technical Workshop on Joint Implementation (JI)
Date: 15-16 October 2007
Venue: To be confirmed, Bonn, Germany

Call for public input

The UNFCCC secretariat is preparing the fourth UNFCCC JI workshop, planned to be held in Bonn, Germany, tentatively on 15-16 October 2007.

During the first day of this event round tables are organized for designated focal points and applicant independent entities to discuss, based on their initial experiences, issues of particular interest among themselves and with the JI Supervisory Committee (JISC). On the second day further issues of interest with regard to JI shall be discussed by all participants.

At its seventh meeting, the JISC requested the secretariat to launch a call for public input on possible topics related to the work of the JISC (e.g. further elaboration of the guidance on criteria for baseline setting and monitoring) to be included in the discussions of the upcoming workshop.

Based on the inputs received and further considerations by the JISC the workshop concept and the list of speakers and participants will be finalised.
