Paragraph 34 of the annex to decision 9/CMP.1 (JI guidelines) stipulates that, under the verification procedure under the Joint Implementation Supervisory Committee (JISC), the accredited independent entity (AIE) shall make its determination regarding a project design document (PDD) publicly available through the secretariat, together with an explanation of its reasons, including a summary of comments received and a report of how due account was taken of these. In accordance with paragraph 35 of the JI guidelines, a determination regarding a PDD shall be deemed final 45 days after the date on which the determination is made public, unless a Party involved in the project or three of the members of the JISC request a review by the JISC. In accordance with paragraph 34 of the JI guidelines, the determination regarding the PDD for the following project has been submitted by an AIE to the secretariat and will be publicly available as of tomorrow, 11 July 2008: 0035. Paragraph 32 of the annex to the JI guidelines stipulates that, under the Track 2 procedure, AIEs shall make JI PDDs publicly available through the secretariat, subject to confidentiality provisions, and receive comments from Parties, stakeholders and UNFCCC accredited observers for 30 days from the date the PDD is made publicly available.
