Project related text:
The project was implemented at Yaivinskaya TPP. It was planned to build an additional electricity generating unit with electricity capacity of 400 MW using Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) technology which is the most energy efficient and environmentally sound way of energy generation as of today. The purpose of this project is to demonstrate the utilisation of a Best Available Technology (BAT) and to decrease the specific CO2 emissions per MWh generated and other negative anthropogenic impacts.
