Project related text:
The goal of the  project is to reduce impact of the steelmaking process on the climate by construction of mini-plants that would use electric furnaces steelmaking technology and produce section steel by the more energy efficient continuous casting machines. Existed open-hearth steel production process was replaced by an electric arc steelmaking process due to fossil fuels consumption reduction. Emissions of GHG were reduced significantly as a result of the project implementation.
