Project related text:
Rehabilitation of the district heating system in the city of Sofia by rehabilitating 60 km of pipes and replacement of pipe insulation, replacement of 10,000 substations, frequency control for the electric motors for the hot
water supply pumps and installation of valves, compensators, heat exchanger and pumps, which supply heat to the individual consumers.
The goal of the project is to reduce heat losses and improve efficiency of the network so energy consumption will be reduced and to lower grid electricity consumption and hence reduce CO2 emissions.
