This project goal is to reduce perfluorocarbon (PCF) emissions by reducing the frequency of anode effect and duration with a package of technical measures (reduction of the cryolite ratio) and operational measures in the old Soederberg cells with upper current leads (VSS) envisaged for implementation at the RUSAL Bratsk aluminium smelter.
