Project related text:
Two combined cycle gas turbine units which is the most energy efficient and environmentally sound way of energy generation as of today with total electricity capacity of 800 MW are installed at Surgutskaya TPP-2. The purpose of this project is to demonstrate the utilisation of a Best Available Technology (BAT) and to decrease the specific CO2 emissions per MWh generated and other negative anthropogenic impacts.
