Project related text:
The Burwood Landfill Gas Utilisation Project comprises the construction and operation of a landfill gas collection and treatment system at the Burwood landfill in Christchurch that results in the supply to, and the combustion of captured gas at: 
a) the boilers at QEII Park, thereby displacing consumption of around 1,350,000 litres of LPG per annum
b) the co-generation plant installed at QEII Park
c) the biosolids drying facility for the Christchurch Wastewater Treatment Plant
d) the power and heating facilities at the Council Civic offices
e) the flare (for landfill gas not otherwise combusted in the boilers, co-generation plant, biosolids drying facility or power and heating plant).
