Project related text:
The purpose of the project is to provide coverage of the growing electricity consumption in the region, to improve reliability Uraysko - Nyagan energy unit, to create a framework for future development of the Polar and Polar Urals, to prevent the development of energy deficiency in the Khanty-Mansiysk. Greenhouse gas emissions will be reduced due to the displacement of electricity from the grid produced by fossil fuel power plants by the electricity generated by Nyagan TPP that will produce electricity with lower carbon intensity in comparison with electricity from the grid.
