Publication of two JI verification reports

In accordance with paragraph 38 of the JI guidelines, verification pertaining to the following joint implementation (JI) projects have been submitted by an accredited independent entity (AIE) to the secretariat and will be publicly available as of tomorrow, 06 April 2012: "0200. Griezpelkiu wind power park project" for monitoring report number "001" covering the period from 01 October 2010 to 31 December 2011. "0236. Kreivenai-III wind power park project" for monitoring report number "001" covering the period from 01 December 2010 to 31 December 2011. The period for requesting a review will end on 20 April 2012 (17:00 GMT). The above mentioned verification will be available on the UNFCCC JI website under <http://ji.unfccc.int/JI_Projects/DeterAndVerif/Verif/VerifRep.html>. Paragraph 38 of the annex to decision 9/CMP.1 (JI guidelines) stipulates that, under the verification procedure under the Joint Implementation Supervisory Committee (JISC), the AIE shall make its verification publicly available through the secretariat, together with an explanation of its reasons. In accordance with paragraph 39 of the JI guidelines, a verification shall be deemed final 15 days after the date on which it is made public, unless a Party involved in the project or three JISC members request a review.
