Procedures

The documents below represent the current versions of applicable procedural documents.

All documents (forms, procedures, etc.) approved by the JISC and published on the UNFCCC JI website are intended for use in connection with the verification procedure under the JISC, as defined in paragraphs 30-45 of the JI guidelines. If the documents are used for any other purpose, they shall not be modified or changed in any way, and anyone making such use of the documents shall hold harmless and defend the JISC and the UNFCCC secretariat against any action that may be brought against them as a result of such use.

NOTE: Based on the decision of the Joint Implementation Supervisory Committee (JISC) at its thirty-seventh meeting, since 30 September 2015, the JISC no longer accepts applications for initial accreditation or reaccreditation as an accredited independent entity (AIE). As of 2 August 2016, the JISC relies on the CDM accreditation system for all its accreditation functions. Meetings of the JI Accreditation Panel, accreditation assessment activities on AIEs, calls for JI assessment team experts, and regulatory documents related to JI accreditation are suspended until further notice. See JISC37 meeting report, paragraph 16 regarding the reliance of JI accreditation on the CDM accreditation system.

Note:

The following two procedures have been cancelled with the adoption of the "Procedure for accrediting independent entities by the Joint Implementation Supervisory Committee (version 06)" and the "Joint implementation accreditation standard (version 01)": "List of sectoral scopes (version 02)". The main body of this document has been incorporated in the "Procedure for accrediting independent entities by the Joint Implementation Supervisory Committee (version 06)", as Annex 1, whereas the provisions of its appendix A have been incorporated in the "Joint implementation accreditation standard (version 01)", with modifications as appropriate; "Indicative level of fees to be paid to joint implementation assessment team by applicant independent entity or accredited independent entity (version 03)". The provisions of this document have been incorporated in the "Procedure for accrediting independent entities by the Joint Implementation Supervisory Committee (version 06)", as Annex 6, with modifications as appropriate.
