The project is aimed at wood waste utilization for heat supply of Severoonezhsk settlement, the Plesetsk District, the Arkhangelsk Region. The project is structured around construction of a biofuel boiler house with the installed capacity of 20 Gcal/h (23.26 MW). The main fuel of the boiler house is wood waste (chips, sawdust and long sawmill residues). Wood waste is supplied from the local sawmills. The standby fuel of the boiler house is diesel oil. The heat supplied from the boiler house is delivered to end-users via the existing district heating network that is connected to the boiler house by a new section of heat pipeline, around 513 m long.
