The project consists of a portfolio of three run of river SHPPs with a total installed capacity of 6.46 MW. The aggregated annual electrical output of the project is about 41.9 GWh. The electricity will be delivered to the National grid.
The project will not only result in a reduction in the generation of GHGs sulphur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide and dust are emitted during generation of electricity from fossil fuels. The implementation of the SHPP portfolio will generate renewable electricity and displace conventional thermal electricity production. Therefore, there is also a reduction of the mentioned gases associated.
